Carla Brunner is a member of the national elite squad for eventing. For her, riding is a passion, as the close collaboration with the horse and mutual trust across the three disciplines of eventing are what make it so rewarding.
It is pure joy to work with the horse.
Her greatest sporting achievement so far is third place in the long four-star competition in Montelibretti. Yet the journey continues. For her, eventing is a science of technique and trust: every movement, every posture, every jump is part of a bigger picture.
“What I appreciate most about Peter and his team is their reliability. Their expertise is invaluable, and they are always there when you need them,” she says. Especially in cross-country riding, a perfectly fitting saddle is extremely important, as one often rides uphill and downhill, and the saddle must not shift. A well-fitting saddle is crucial for both horse and rider.
Working with her horse means a great deal to her. As an eventing rider mastering three disciplines, horse and rider grow closely together and build mutual trust – for her, the most beautiful part of the sport.
